Tim Burton is Awesome

Here are my top Tim Burton movies in no particular order. I love Tim Burton. I really do. Plus points if Johnny Depp is in the movie!

1. Edward Scissorhands- Typically Burtonian, full of innocent humour from Depp as the real world is so new to Edward. I love the whole “perfect suburb” thing that Burton had going on in that movie. Wouldn’t Depp be a cool second name?

2. Nightmare Before Christmas- My two utter favourite times of year, mashed up into a film, directed by Tim Burton, add in a song or two, and it has ANNIE’S FAVE FILM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!

3. Corpse Bride- Helena Bonham Carter, in my opinion is a superwoman. That is all I’m going to say.

4. Sweeney Todd Demon Barber of Fleet Street- Trust Tim to bring another of my two faves (horror and musical) that would usually NEVER work into one… and my God, did I love that movie.

5. Alice in Wonderland- I love Alice, I truly adore her. And my love for Tim Burton and Johnny Depp is really coming through here. I love how the Hatter’s mood swings show insecurity(hence the name MAD Hatter), and Alice’s constant size changes too.

Sorry for Party Rockin’

Sorry guys, I just couldn’t hack that new theme any longer. This one is tried and tested and sure ye know your way about at this stage.

Rants of a Crafty Lunatic

Well, my hair is waaaaaaay too long, I can’t get it cut until after our ballet production goes on stage. And my hair is one of those styles thats short on one side and long on the other (I’m known for my Bieber flick) and the “short” bit is tickling my ear. Grrrrrrr.

Not-Quite-Summer-Yet Playlist 2012

Okay, so we all wish it was officially summer. Lately our weather in Ireland has me as confused as a cow on astro-turf. All week long we had a heatwave in the middle of March (which us mere irish people like to call the summer) and today, it was HAILSTONES. I am so confused, I had to write a playlist with some happy songs and listen to it over and over.

1. Nicki Minaj- Roman Soldier

2. Cher Lloyd- Grow Up

3. Eliza Doolitte- Back to Front

4. Jackson 5- ABC

5. Vampire Weekend- A-Punk

6. Chiddy Bang- The Opposite of Adult*

7.Glee Cast- Smooth Criminal**

* Having serious love affair with this song at the moment

** Have you HEARD the cello in this?! Kudos to those two guys. If you haven’t heard it yet, I reccomend you do so ASAP.
